How it works

  1. Photograph the cardUpload photos from your camera app, or use the in-app camera. Front and back, flat and evenly lit. PreGrade sorts the front from the back, turns an upside-down card the right way up, and tells you if anything might be missed before you go on.
  2. Check the centeringPreGrade finds the borders. Fine-tune the lines by hand or with the arrow controls, then tap Set to lock them.
  3. See the estimatesRough estimates under made-up standards, with the measurements behind them. They are not grades and mean nothing official. Save the card, share the result picture, or view it full screen.

What it measures

Centering

Border widths on all four sides, front and back, as a split such as 55/45.

Corners

Rounding, dings and whitening at each corner.

Edges

Chips and whitening along each edge, measured in millimetres.

Surface

Spots and, with a tilted-light photo, scratches and dents.

Private by design
